National Politics is more broken than ever with scandals being unearthed seemingly on a daily basis. We are in a time of massive upheaval and change with the full impacts of the Pandemic, Brexit and ever increasing inflation yet to fully impact our day to day lives.

It’s more important than ever for the people of Frome to decided the future of our town and this is something that independents for Frome have been doing for the past decade without interference or interruption from Westminster led parties and policies.

If you look at the sheer amount of projects, charities and schemes that have positively affected the lives on a daily basis not to mention those that have garnered national and international recognition then it’s hard to believe that this little market town on the edge of Somerset could make such an impact.

The successes that we have achieved as a Town Council led by independents for Frome are well known, from the projects and schemes that the passionate and dedicated Town Hall staff lead, to the many charities and groups supported by Frome Town Council including Fair Frome, Fair Housing for Frome, Active and in Touch, Frome Festival, The Cheese and Grain, Purple Elephant, The Toy Library, The Children’s Festival and many, many more.

Now is not the time to rest on our laurels though. Somerset now has an incoming Unitary Council on the horizon and this will give Frome residents an even greater chance to shape how our town’s future will look and ifF want everyone to be a part of this. We have some plans for the new year that will give ifF supporters even more say over what we do as a group and how we do it but more on that later.

For now, welcome to the new ifF website, don’t forget to sign up to our subscribers list so we can keep you up to date with all out goings on and if you can spare some pennies for future election costs then that’d be great.
